Compete Sports Performance & Rehab owner Chris Phillips has been named an Athletic Trainer for US Figure Skating at the 34th Nepela Memorial Trophy, an international figure skating competition taking place September 24–27, 2026, at the Ondrej Nepela Arena in Bratislava, Slovakia.
The Nepela Memorial Trophy is part of the ISU Challenger Series, bringing together elite figure skaters from around the world.
This opportunity adds another international assignment to Chris Phillips’ extensive career in sports medicine and athletic training. His experience includes working with elite athletes and teams across multiple sports, including serving as Athletic Trainer for the Czech Figure Skating Team at the 2022 Winter Olympics in Beijing.
Chris is proud to once again represent the United States in international figure skating and looks forward to supporting US Figure Skating athletes throughout the competition in Bratislava.
